STARTALK Fall Conference 2017

The STARTALK Fall Conference will be held on November 3 and 4, 2017, at the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower Hotel in Portland, Oregon.

The STARTALK Fall Conference provides an opportunity for STARTALK grantees to reflect on 2017 programs, attend sessions developed for teaching critical languages, learn about resources that will enrich STARTALK programs, and network with other STARTALK colleagues. We hope to celebrate the success of the summer programs and grow from the challenges together. There will also be a STARTALK & NFLC Product Showcase, Program Exposition, and Reception on Friday night to provide an opportunity for attendees to network with other STARTALK program staff.

The conference will start at 8:15 a.m. on Friday, November 3, and will conclude at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 4.

Attendance for the duration of the conference is a part of the STARTALK grant requirement, so please plan your travel to allow you to be present at the conference from the start until the end of the last session on Saturday.

Registering for the conference does not reserve a hotel room for you or your team members.
